Abtin Perlite Industries has started its activity since 1372 in the field of perlite expansion in 2 factory units located in Alawijah and Najaf Abad 1 industrial towns. This company succeeded in launching the perlite block production line in 1378, and in 1396, the activity of this complex continued under the name of Dorin Sazan Abtin Company. Then, in 2019, she succeeded in obtaining a license to operate one of the best perlite mines with a capacity of over 2 million tons, located on the border of East Azarbaijan and Ardabil provinces.
